Expectations from Lead Engineer Java

Just got a mail from one of recruiter with following requirements. A good software engineer should be possessing these many skills :)

Technical Lead Software Engineer
Mandatory requirements / Technical Skills:
Total experience of 7 to 10 years out of which at least 3 to 5 years as technical lead role
   Expert in Core Java, Design Patterns understanding and usage (How could they miss OOAD, Multithreading)
   Excellent understanding of
      a. HTTP protocol ,
      b. Web based frameworks like Struts, JSF, Spring and ORM tool like Hibernate,
      c. Web Service architecture – SOAP & REST based
   Good hands-on experience on
      a. XML, JSON, Java Script
      b. Application server - Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic ,WebSphere
   Programming in Windows & Unix (Aix, Solaris, RHEL) environment
   Knowledge of Databases like Oracle, MSSQL and Sybase
   Good to know UI technologies – Web Tool Kits like ExtJS

Expectation from this Role
   Managing the design & architecture for small to medium projects/ contributing to large complex projects
   Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge along with technical / proprietary skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement.
   Works as a guide and independently sets directions for medium sized projects of high complexity.
   Sets own work schedule for project team to meet established objectives.
   Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review
   Requires expert knowledge of multiple development technology.
   Can offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new methodologies and then exercise judgment to determine the most appropriate solution.

   Should have university degree in computer sciences or equivalent degree with relevant experience.

   Should be prepared to participate from time to time in conference calls with any worldwide SailPoint office or directly with customer during the customer’s normal working hours.

Tiranga

I had only this feeling after I had my dinner last Friday - 'How could I miss this? Its So yummy and so good :D' And only the delicious cuisines prompted me to write my foodie entry on blog.

The place is situated right after we cross SNDT flyover from Nal Stop on Paud Road, which is easy to spot. The entrance is bit small and however, as you enter through the gates, homely dining hall welcomes you wholeheartedly.

Typically, there is a waiting for atleast 20 minutes, if you are on Weekends, so do have spare time in hand :) Once your name gets called, you'll be allocated a table.

As a first timer, I had reserved half of dinner for famous Biryani and wanted to try Mutton Masala Fry, another recommendation from Friends. The service is prompt and attentive. Waiters will definitely answer all your queries regarding food and other details.

So we ordered Mutton Masala Fry, SolKadhi and Jwari Bhakri as main course and Mutton Biryani.

Within small time, dishes were served, and they were traditional Maharashtrian plates. Water was served not in Jug glass or bottles but in Tambya (Loti), Pela, another trademark Maharashtrian style.

SolKadhi arrived first and was fine. Solkadhi is a Konkani drink and not the curry served before meals for its digestive properties especially before and after heavy meals! It satiates your stomach after heavy spicy meal. It’s made up from Kokam, and Coconut milk with green chilies and tempered with various spices. Now, the actual drink arrived in glass garnished with Dhania and Curry Leaves. The pink curry served was mildly spicy, with smell of cloves. It was not so sweet, and not very spicy, just right. And after taking few sips, I felt it also fueled my hunger and was impatiently waiting for main course J

And when dishes arrived, the first thing I noticed was the portion size. The Bhakris' were large and soft. The Mutton Masala Fry portion was good enough for 3, which was supported with Rassa, specialty item at Tiranga. After trying lot of restaurants, finally I was having a very good looking mutton dish. Darkish red gravy with 6 to 7 pieces served in small pital kadhai was very inviting.  Fragrance of portion along with spices was nourishing and garnished with fine green dhania made the final mark. The red gravy was titillating and the Red Rassa was challenging. We couldn’t wait more and started our dinner. With the first byte, you’d notice the tenderness of piece and you’d say complete justice done to the meat! Soft and tender and smooth. The skill of chef was commanding as the spices were appropriately filled till bones (we had not ordered boneless ;)). We applied Rassa on portions and also tried sipping it. Once the rassa went through the throat, I could feel the warmth of spices and smoothness of it. Thumps Up!

Mutton Biryani arrived after we finished with Bhakris and Masalas. The first look of Biryani was bit disappointing as it looked like typical roadside item with rice served over mutton. However, as it was poured in plates, delicious looking pieces came right through rice layers. Note that this is not Hyderabadi Biryani; its Tiranga’s own preparation and is alternate of dum style. Mutton pieces were judiciously spiced and was living upto the reputation. It was mildly hot with various spices satiating all your senses with their fragrance, looks and tenderness.

Overall, the dinner was very good, had awesome dishes and many more occasions to come and fill myself with various dishes @ Tiranga J

NEW DELHI: Increasing presence of the Chinese maritime forces in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) and disciplinary issues in the force are expected to be discussed by the top Navy brass in their commanders' conference starting on Tuesday.

I was impressed after reading this para that our intelligence can actually spot this into our Indian Ocean Region and they are doing things! However to utter dismay was second para:

In a recent report submitted to the defense ministry, the Integrated Defense Staff headquarters had informed the government quoting the data by American agencies that 22 encounters of Chinese submarines have taken place outside its territorial waters in the IOR.

Should I laugh or cry? Are our agencies so pathetic that we had to rely for American agencies to understand presence of Chinese maritime forces in IOR? Moreover, how Americans knew this? Do they have access to our IOR? Don't this question be asked as well? Or do we blindly trust Americans? I think we have outsourced all this to US :P

This article being in Times, I have started to think that this is definitely BAD Reporting :) or ... Chhi Be. We are definitely marooned.

Think about your Government. Take inspiration from them. Our PM reacts after 10 days when some poor Chinese hoteliers setup McManchurian. They wake up when Poor Sarabjit is dead. They wake up after 30 years and say Sajjan Bhai is really sajjan and not guilty even though narrow minded fundamentalist people say that they are eyewitness to his crimes. Such things destroys our soft nation image in world yar. Don't you know we are very resilient (by force) in nature? वैसे भी कानूनको हाथमे लेके तुमने अच्छा नही किया विनोद!

Now they'd need to give statement for cowardly act of their own Indian Citizen. तुम्हे कैसे लगेगा सुननेमे जाब हमारेही पंतप्रधान और आदरणीय साहेबां जब तुम्हारे इस घृणास्पद कृत्य की निंदा करेंगे वो भी अपने ही देसके TV Channels Reporters के सामने? पुरे देश का मानसम्मान मिट्टीमे मिला दिया. These talks are reserved from terrorists and non state actors across the border. How would they look in mirror off your cowardly act? Even death of Sarabjit and incursion of Chinamen had failed to do so. Don't you know सोये हुये को जगाना बहोत बुरी बात है?

Do you have any idea whats that gonna mean? Your act is scar on face of our peaceful country. They had to wake up and assure our neighbor that all other Convicted (Terrorists) inmates of Pakistani Origin will be well taken care off. They'd be getting Biryani from Paradise every other day. Hot and airlifted right from Paradise square. Some bollywood people would now need to make special arrangements of dance shows to these folks. Your act has already cost us wasted airlifting trip to Chandigad, had cost 2 Hawildars and a superintendent their job. How would their family live in such cruel world? Now our (Dushman)Dost desh Pakistan demanded immediate release and repatriation of its national Sanaullah. They gave us Most Favored nation status and we repay them with this?

I urge my PM to send poor soul back. Let him be treated in Best of the Best medical facilities in his homeland. Lets teach world a lesson in Humanity. We should also give him compensation for getting hit from Ex-Army veteran in Jail. Indian Army should be taught to not hit persons from across the border. They are not taking any action against Chinese McManchurian hotel in DBO and attacking poor Pakistani Terrorists in Indian Jail.

Here's latest update from an High Ranking Officer in Government!

Don't take Tension. Its just an authentic Chinese Manchurian and Hakka Noodles Joint Opened at destination - DaulatBeg Oldi. Some Chinese soldiers were too frustrated when they eat Paneer Manchurian at New Delhi at Republican Day Parade. Our Secretary of Eateries dept personally served them with dish, which was not really well received. Hence this authentic food joint was opened. We only received letter from Chinese late because of snail mail services in state of Himachal Pradesh which was ruled by some non congress parties till last year. Due to sheer incompetence of them and their lack of interest in infrastructure  letter delivery happened real late. (Also, we couldn't open the email). This will now be taken care by our new regime. 

Our representatives who attended meetings with various delegations also recommend various dishes like KongBomb, PakkiNoodles, BheJaPhrayy etc.  

So its our sincere request to all mango men to enjoy authentic Chinese food in this season of Mangoes. Kindly don't panic and enjoy authentic Chinese food at DBO when you next visit Ladakh!!

Like we predicted here (Read Last Line), Chinese have kept their word and they came with their own kitchen with them :)

Note from Chinese consulate - 

1. Please have passports stapled with entry permit when you visit DBO. This will ensure that you are legitimate visitor.

2. We are also planning to open few joints in Leh, Manali, Delhi etc, stay tuned!

च्याउ म्याऊ चायना भाऊ

सुन्नेमे आराके खुर्शीदअंकल चायना जा रे. जाव जाव अछा है. अगर आप उधर जाके गांधीगिरीसे समझानेवास्ते जारेले तो जरूर ट्राय करना. वैसे उन्हे सम्झेंगी के नही पता नही. फिरभी जानेमे कोई हर्ज नही. मामला बात से हल हो सकता है तो जरुर होना  पर जायेंगे तो एअर इंडियासे तो भी जाइयेगा. फिर उन्हे भी उडने मे मजा आवेगा।

बाकी इधर पब्लिक चायनामेड आयटम्सपे बंदी कि मांग कर्री. तो सोच मै के जर दुकान मे जाके थोडा बहोत देख तो आउ के सही में चायनाबंदी करनी पड़ी तो क्या खरीद पाएंगे? वैसे ये बंदी की खबर मै मेड इन चायनावाले लैपटॉप पे ही मेड इन चायना वाले डोंगलसे इन्टरनेटसे पता करी। है के नहीं मस्त?

बाकी काफी सारी प्लास्टिककी चीजे कई सारे इलेक्ट्रोनिक्स, मोबाइल्स, साराका सारा कंप्यूटर उद्योग और बहुत सारी मशिनरी सब चायनासे ही आता है। तो उनपे बंदी डालेंगे तो अपना क्या होगा? ये भी सोचना पड़ेगा :)


वैसे अगर सही मी जंग हुई तो क्या होगा? इस मामलेमे अपने काँग्रेसवाले तो बच जायेंगे. वो तो कुछ करेंगे ही नही. सो चायनावाले खुश होके इन्हे अपने पित्तू बनाके बैठा लेंगे. मुझे तो लग रा सलमान उधर कोई ऐसेही डील मारने के लिये जा रा। डील मारलो बाबालोग अपनी तो लगनेवाली है ही मुंबईसे नजदीक जो ठहरे ... २ ४ मिसाइल्स इधर पुऩामें भी गिर जायेंगे तो गयी भैस पानी में।

एक बाइकवाला सरळरेषेत चाललाय. उजवीकडून एक स्पिरीटवाला येतो. ओव्हरटेक करतो. अन लगेच डावीकडे घुसून बाईकवाल्याला कट मारतो. बाइक चिपकते.

बिचारा बाइकवाला शिव्या खातो. कारण बाईकवाले नेहमीच वाइट्ट असतात न.

एक स्पिरीटवाला डावीकडे घुसत घुसत पुढे सरकतो. सिग्नलवरून सगळ्यात आधी पुढे जायचं न. शेवटी एका बसला चिपकतो.

एक वृद्ध दाम्पत्य रस्ता ओलांडतय. हळू चालताहेत. तेवढ्यात सिग्नल बदलतो अन एक कारवाला सुसाट निघतो अन जोऱ्यात होर्न देतो. ते थांबले कार गेली ते ही क्रॉसकरून गेले.

इतके अनुभव अवघ्या २ तासात ते ही सकाळी १० च्या आधी, सकाळी सदाशिवपेठेत गेलो होतो तेव्हा. 

BRTS मधून बिनधास्त बाइक्स, कार्स घुसतात काय (?) लोक मोबाईलवरून बोलत रस्ता ओलांडतात काय, पब्लिक पूर्ण डावीकडून आडवी उजवीकडे काय घुसते ई. ई. अरे काय चाललाय काय? मामा असतांनाच सिग्नल पाळायचा का? बर हे करणार कोण? तर आपण पांढरपेशे ९ - ७ नोकरीवाले. त्यातल्या त्यात हल्ली (मगर) पट्टयात राहाण असल्यान IT वालेच जास्त दिसतात. सुशिक्षित लोकच असा वागताहेत तर काय होणार? अन हो, सध्या अर्धवट अमेरिकनांचा सावळा गोंधळ फुकटात बघायचा असेल तर रोज सकाळी १० - ११ वाजता अन संध्याकाळी ७ ते ८ दरम्यान मगरपट्ट्याच्या गेट्सवर उभा रहाव. अगदी फुकट करमणूक होईल. मोठमोठ्या गाड्या एकेका माणसाला घेऊन घासत घासत जात असतात. अरे २ ३ किलोमीटरवर राहतात अन कार घेऊन येता? बर येता तर या, किमान २ ३ जनांना तर आणा सोबत? (Carpooling - श्या Its so below standard). मान्य आहे कि आपण डीझेल पेट्रोल विकत घेऊ शकतो पण म्हणून कसाही खर्चायच? आधीच तेलाच्या प्रेमापायी रूपयानी छप्पनि गाठलीय. (अर्रे चुकलो चुकलो $ वाढला की चांदी होते न भाव) 

पायी चालणारे जीव मुठीत ठेऊन चालतात! रस्ता क्रॉस करण म्हणजे आफत असते राव ह्या २ तासात. अन फुटपाथ राहिला कोठेय, अर्धा फूटपाथ विक्रेत्यांचा अन हल्ली उरलेला बाईकवाल्यांचा असा हिशोब झालय. 

अर्थात तसेही पायी चालणाऱ्यांना बाइकवाले अन कारवाले किती भाव देतात हे आजकाल पायी चालतांना मी अनुभवतोच. LBSवर मी कारमागे होतो. त्या दोघां आज्जी आजोबांचे भाव अन डोळे फार काही सांगून गेलेत, थबकायला झालं पण मला मात्र मागच्या कारवाल्यांनी जागवला. 

हे थोड्याफार फरकानी नेहेमीच दिसत. पण तिसऱ्या सीननी फारच वाईट वाटलं म्हणून जरा लिहावस वाटतय बास. उद्या सकाळपासून पुनश्च हरिऒम! असो ट्राफीकबाबत भरपूर लिहून झालाय लोकांच, आता आपलीपण भर : D

Lucky Me!!

I got enrolled in Aadhar :P

Prior to that - I had gone to 5 6 enrollment centers to hear that its closed ... You are not citizen of particular society - get lost :O Some even went on to say ... come in July :O :O Some asked to come by date ... only to discover that these suckers played trick and center was closed 2 days before :P :P :P Ha ha ha..

Finally on Monday (11 Mar) I got enrolled in nearby place by standing 2 hours  in line. Thought I was lucky after hearing pathetic experiences of people in queue :D

And best part is ... next day (12 Mar) Aadhar team visits my society, comes to give forms to doorsteps and tells everyone to be present in club house.

Now thats what you call Luck!

Satirical Approach ... No offense meant. Take a chill pill and relax and if possible think how can we change?
How else a poor Indian register protest? Whatever I do that'll fall on deaf ears of Govt of India. When will we show some spine? Are we always reactionists? Don't we know that a country who doesn't respect their soldiers is doomed to die? When are we going to be so tough that incursions will stop at their own?

Oh dear soldiers, I'm really sorry that I can't do anything from you except this token of protest. My government is spineless herd of ships.

I have credible proofs from Honorable Interior Min from Pakistan that Border Action Force of Pakistan had exhausted their Rum stocks. They were shivering. So Indian Army had invited them for Pit Stop Party. IA had Fatka Seating Ducks and BAF wanted Halal Duck. So they slaughtered a poor looking malnourished 'seating duck' and took away its head as no one from India were looking.

Meanwhile Others including me :-

Rains!

July 19th!

So finally rains have returned to Pune. I liked that especially getting soaked in twice a day in attempts to reach office :P and then working from home LOL! Life's getting better with advent of rains, at least that's a good hope.

There's a funny article on OBAMA being underachiever by outlook! Can't wait to see it. Pagal Patrakar says  it includes articles about Hillary controlling Obama :P God knows how troll it would be :)

Time for some snacksss Maggiee and Garma Garm Corn, Yummieee.

An open letter to BCCI and Government of India

(A Satirical approach to express my angst against BCCI's decision to play Criket with Pakistan. As I can't do anything to protest, so writing down this :D)

An open letter to BCCI and Government of India

Respected Sirs(!) and Dear Madams,

I'm writing this letter down to really appreciate and an excellent, but delayed decision by BCCI. I don't understand why it took so long time for noble organization of ours to take such harmonious decision. Its really getting better and better, more Cricket, more Cricket, more plays and lets happily live ever after! Hats off ... Kudos... I have no words to express my delight.

Next steps - Start on arrival Visa's for people coming across border? As rightly Mr. Gandhi said if someone slaps us on one chick (:P) we should turn another, we should give friendly advises to Indian Wellwishers from (cross border) about where massive public gatherings are held and where next blasts should be opened.

We should also indicate them that mostly they'll never get caught and if they are tired of shooting and killing ( no ... they are keeping Indian population on check, you know such a noble deed helping Indian Economy :P) they can turn in to Indian Court and live happily ever after, with Daily Biryani Services From Paradise (Hyderabad), AC Jail suits, yearly sweets and treats on occasion of Rakhi, Diwali and Holi (didn't mentioned Dusshera here you know such a festival for celebration of violent victories)  and other Indian  social occasions too.


Why should we even bother about 7/13, 9/26, 2/13 (Pune)  victims? We are here to help our *** whipped by outsiders. Rather all the victims of unfortunate blasts be given free passes to matches. Also, we should send VIP tickets to Kasab and Guru and start worshiping them (sic) Kasab ko to daily Paradise ka Biryani khilana padenga bawa ...


This'll definitely improve our ties with them, Seriously.

(All the claims in this article are purely based on guesswork and my imagination to solve mysterious history of IVC (Indus Valley Civilization) and Vedic civilization, and do not depend on any sources but wiki. Third Party citation needed along with expert comments on History of India!)

It all lies in Source Dude... All is in source! Somebody said. (No ... not somebody, its always Google ... whenever dumb engineers like you stuck ... you search around for Source ... :D kidding). It happened on a lonely Thanksgiving weekend ... I was struck by a desire to search the roots! Roots of your family (Waw ... you alone in US searching for family roots somewhere way below in south konkan with internet .. gotta be kidding dud!) Dont worry guys ... my sub is so hopeless that it can hit someone and put him in tartarus! And in my search of roots I stumbled accross ... a link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chitpavan#Origins)! A Bizzare claim that goes on like this :

This instantly rang bells into mind about widely disputed Theory of So called Aryan Invasion of India!!! Was it a oriental mind game played by Britishers to which dignitaries like Lokmanya fall? Someone may argue against it but... then ... What is the source of similarities between Latin/Greek and Sanskrit ( Guys I am not linguistic ... its just the claim found on another wiki ) Why is the word Arya described as a race with superiour qualitites both in India and in Europe (Although defamed by Hitler) ? So many questions along with these genetic similarities between well protected bloodlines of Indian Higher class ( am getting a feeling of writing dark lord's thoughts, Pure Blood :D !). Arguably everyone will agree that these lines (pompous Higher classes Indians) were fiercely protected on the basis of caste system. This system can provide details of the genetic tree or the grand design of human race evolution in Indian Subcontinent(chalo atleast kisi chij ke liye to useless caste system useful rahegi!)

Enough of guessworks dude ... Where is the proof except that in Genetic similarities why there is no such proof? If Aryans were so cultured, why nothing is been written down? Or atleast, why no volume depicts this invasion ... this so called theory? I always wondered, Indian mythological books provide so accurate depiction of starts and astronimical events, why all these other details are not recorded at all? And by the way, with the few scholers(http://www.hindunet.org/hindu_history/ancient/mahabharat/mahab_vartak.html) have used these events with most sophisticed softwares (????) to determine the date of the WAR which comes around to be 5561 B.C!!! Awesome! So India was populated before the Harrappa and Mohenjodero huh? I have started believing so ...

So where are the references ... no archiological sites ... no nothing ??? Can we expect to have ruins of this particular age in a country which inhibitated by us for so long? Its highly impossible. Definitely, there can be some ruins relics still around, but it will require an extensive search and money (:P Yeah!) So we will have to look into our historic documents to have some clues around!

And thats the goal of this blog series ... (I know I will be joining the wagan of lot of people going into Anals of History and trying to figure our roots! To the Source dude ... lets get going)

It all begining with Story of Kashyapa (Founder of Kashmir!)... (As the wiki(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashyapa) and stories told by my Granny, Kashyapa was an ancient sage, he was the father of the Devas, Asuras, Nagas and all of humanity. He married Aditi, with whom he fathered Agni, the Adityas, and most importantly Lord Vishnu took his fifth avtar as Vamana, the son of Aditi, in the seventh Manvantara(We are living in Seventh Manvantara!). With his second wife, Diti, he begot the Daityas. Diti and Aditi were daughters of King Daksha Prajapati and sisters to Sati (You must be knowing the Sati, story of Sati and ShivShankar ... Classic and Epic Poem of Love and Sacrifice and Revenge!... I dont know why Indian Movie makers always fly to Newyork to make love stories, when we have innumerable ones around!). But where's Manu, our great great ,.... great grand dad? Lets leave him ... and concentrate on Deva's and Daityas!

I dont have the details of how earth (Rather India I would say) was devided into these sons. But traditionally, If we look, Dev folks were residing in Heaven ... Somewhere Up (Hey, doesn't that mean North ??) and Danavas or Daityas somewhere down in Patala ... (South :D) and we humans descendents of Manu (BTW, I found that Manu descended from Vivasan son of Kashyap, and later known as Vaivasvata Manu, here is the entire geneology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikshvaku_dynasty including from Manu to Nanda's and Mauryas!) were in between ... somewhere thats on Prithvi! Living apart the sapta swargas and sapta patapals and prithvi, I dont want to get into mythological impllications but want to study everything as just human. If we look at this story, we can conclude that Deva and Danav were sons of Kashyap and Brothers in Blood! But yet somehow they became archenimies? Why? As all men goes with it, it must have been power! They must have wanted to control whole world for them and not leaving it for anyone else (So human!)

As the stories tell, somehow, Deva's were give Heavens and Daitya's were given Patala's. Looking at the glories that were in heaven, Daitya's started fighting for it! And the battles hornes began!

But, how's this related to Aryan Invasion theory? This is where the my gray cells start pouring my theories!

If we look at various incidences, described in Rigveda the story of Indra, Vritra, Sambara Nahusha and all, it looks like complete a push on Asur kingdoms from Humans lead by surs or devas downwards or southwards.

Here are some etimological and mythological references from Norse and Zorostrian streams which points to some interesting findings going in similar timelines with Vedic civilization.

1. In norse + German mythology Æsir/aesirs (similar to Asurs ??) were a group of gods opposing to another group of gods vanir (Varun ??? :D)! In Norse Mythology, which was restricted in Europe Vanir group was subdued (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%86sir%E2%80%93Vanir_War)(or removed/displaced from this place?). These people had established early settlements from Russia, Germany to Scotland and Greenland refer Andronovo.

2. In Zorostrian, there is a story of Thraetaona who battles serpent Aži Dahaka (In Rigved, Vritra is also called Ahi!) who interestingly worship Rivers and has impregnable fortress like sambara's 99 fortress for Vritra. Mother of Vritra is Danu, Girl of Daksha and wife of Kashyapa and mother to all Danavas! And she's goddess of Rivers. As a word for "rain" or "liquid", danu is compared to Avestan danu "river", and further to river names like Don, Danube, Dneiper, Dniestr, etc. There is also a Danu river in Nepal.

3. In Zorostrian, a highly armoured god Verethragna http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verethragna is described to have a arch enemy as Indra ... (Huh?).

4. Another and very important conincidence here is Haoma (Soma). In another episode, Viva?hat is the first of the humans to press haoma, for which Hom rewards him with a son, Jamshid. Yasna 9.3-11 has Zoroaster asking the divinity who (first) prepared haoma and for what reward, to which Haoma recalls Vivahngvant (Persian: Vivahat) to whom Yima Xshaeta (Jamshid) is born; Athwya (Abtin) to whom Thraetaona (Feredon) is born; and Thrita to whom Urvaxshaya and Keresaspa (Karshasp and Garshasp) are born. The latter two are also characters in priestly heroic tradition, and among conservative Zoroastrians of the hereditary priesthood, Haoma is still prayed to by those wanting children (in particular, honorable sons who will also become priests). The account given in the Indian Vedas closely agrees with that of the Iranian Avesta. The first preparers of Soma are listed as Vivasvat, who is the father of Yama and Manu.

5. One textual reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aryan_migration#Textual_references suggests earliest written evidence for an Indo-Aryan language is found not in India, but in northern Syria in Hittite records regarding one of their neighbors, the Hurrian-speaking Mitanni. In a treaty with the Hittites, the king of Mitanni, after swearing by a series of Hurrian gods, swears by the gods Mitrašil, Uruvanaššil, Indara, and Našatianna, who correspond to the Vedic gods Mitra, Varuna, Indra, and Nasatya (Asvin).

The sole point of mentioning this episode here is that Rigveda and Zorostrian mythology are so closely describing particular events which are so commmon that the two religions must be closely associated.

Or!

Were they two groups fighting with each other traversing iranian plattues thru middle east asia dragged into India?

Or!

Were they same civilization parted due to very uncommon situation, DRYING UP SARASWATI?

I am actually going up with this ... Reverse Aryan Invasion! Group of People actually moved from Sindhu Saraswati Civilization to upwards (WoW, What a Guess!). It actually explains and fits story of kashyapa, in higher mountains of Himalaya and Hindukusha, lang grabbing by humans lead by Deva's.

But lets first look up what veda says about Saraswati:

So many questions but no answers. All we know is that group of people started migrating from Westernmost part of ancient India to Gangetic plains. But I am not sure whether this westernmost part actually came from northwest of india ... Somehow somewhere in time, in India, people started moving to east, to Ganges plains and then downwards! This again is a postulation from events described in Rigveda. The holiest book describes the mighty rivers of northen indian subcontinent ... The land of five rivers, Great Sindhu and Greatest of All Saraswati river. Ganga and Yamuna do have some verses to themselves, but prominent place is retained by Sindhu, and Saraswati for one obvious reason, writers of Rigveda must be residing on the banks on Sindhu and saraswati and dependent on it heavily so the vast praises! And if you look at the settlements of Harrappa - Mohendojaro Civilization or Sindhu ( Should it be called Sindhu Saraswati Civilization?) they are in between Sindhu and Ghaggar-Hakra River dry basin in current days. Theories say Ghaggar-Hakra was ancient Saraswati which dried up! ... Could this be the point which Rigveda is trying to indicate in story of Vritra that Vritra took up all the water and then Indra destroying Vritra, freeing up rivers or lands or rivers for everyone (Punjab ??). This might be the start of eastward pushing with Vishnu taking land from Bali (king of fertile lands, definitely from Ganges Plains!) pushing him downwards! Then came the Ramayana (At this time, dandakaranya was boundary which means region below current Narmada river)... further push to south and then finally entire Indian Subcontinent consumed by people around Sindhu Saraswati! Then come mahabharata ... where are the mighty kingdomes of asurs/daitya's the way they were described in Puranas, Veda's and Ramayanas ... Gone! India Cleansed - up!

I am ending this entry here ... but will take up each of the milestones, Rigveda story of Indra ... Vishnu taking lands from Bali ... Ramayana planned acquisition in subsequent series!

Honestly, I am moved! All of a sudden, am taking inspirations from HINDI FILMS... We had a professor in college having unique style of explaining things to (hopeless!) boys (like me)! His favorite line was ... Opportunity is like a damsel in distress...
